Girls Trip {Day 5}

Our last day we checked out of the hotel, dropped off our bags in the lobby and headed to Animal Kingdom. The rest of the week had been hot but today it was COLD!! I mean really chilly!! Sally was complaining the whole time and even though she had on pants and a sweater, I still felt guilty.

The first thing we did was wait in line to meet Pocahontas. We had never met her before so Sally was pretty excited!

We also did the Safari ride, It's a Bugs Life and the Nemo show.

Once we got into the Nemo theater she was warm and happy!

We ate lunch at Yak and Yeti (quick service) and then headed back to the hotel. It was time to go to the airport.

We had a great trip!! I am so glad that I got to do a girls trip with Sally before Henry gets here. It did make me realize how much Joe helps when we are there. It was exhausting getting her ready, pushing the stroller, holding her hand on the bus, carrying her places, etc. It would be tiring for anyone, but being 6 months pregnant, it was even worse for me. I didn't complain at all when we were there but when we finally got home, I was TIRED!!!

Our next trip to Disney is in September and Henry will be 4 months old!!

Disney Girls Trip {Day 4}

Day 4 came early and we were off to Epcot. One of the hard things about traveling with Sally by myself is that I had to get myself up and ready before even attempting to wake her up. Even then....there were usually bribes involved. These girls were just so tired every day!!

The whole group in front of Epcot.

We had an early breakfast reservation at Akershus. It's a fabulous Princess breakfast in the Norway section of World Showcase. There are usually about 5-6 princesses there so its a great way to get some princess meet and greets. Most of the little girls will be wearing their princesses dresses so make sure to bring one for your kids.

Sally wanted to be Ariel. Instead of a scratchy dress up type dress, I really wanted her to have a comfy Ariel dress. MadysonAndMarie on etsy came through and made her this fabulous dress. It was just perfect!!

When you first enter the restaurant, you get to meet Belle and get your picture made with her. They used to give you a free print out of this but I found out on this trip they are now offering a free download on your Memory Maker.

There is a buffet of fruits, pastries, cheeses, etc that you help yourself to and then they bring out a platter of hot food (bacon, sausage, eggs, potatoes). Its all you can eat so fill up!

The princesses make their rounds around the tables. make sure to have your camera and autograph book ready!

Princess Aurora

Snow White

They also brought Sally a cupcake for her birthday!!

Cinderella!

Ariel!

Also during the meal, they will call all the little princesses to come to the center of the room and they will have a parade around the restaurant. It's really cute!

The girls had fun twirling in their dresses!

We rode several rides at Epcot and also visited Club Cool Its a free area where you can sample Coke products from different countries!

We also met Mary Poppins in England!!

In France, we got some yummy salted caramel ice cream using a snack credit!

Sally got mixed berry sorbet.

We met Mulan in China.

For dinner, we had reservations at San Angel Inn in Mexico. Most people walk right past this building, never knowing whats inside.

Look at the restaurant. Its so neat!! The whole thing looks like a Mexican marketplace at night. There is also a sweet little ride that takes you past the restaurant on the river.

The food is really good too!! I had a shrimp dish that was fabulous!

It was raining when we left so we had to make a run for the buses! Another successful day in the books!

Disney Girls Trip {Day 3}

Day three started bright an early. We let the girls wear princess dresses today.

Sally and Carol Hannah were mistaken for the real Snow White and Sleeping Beauty and were asked for their autograph from a cast member...so sweet!!

Waiting for the bus!

Our little princesses at Magic Kingdom!!

We headed to Fantasyland and rode Under the Sea with Ariel and then went right next door to meet her. This is Sally's favorite and she loves getting to sit in the shell.

We also had a visit with Merida. Sally got to shoot a bow and arrow!!

We stopped by Pixie Hollow to meet Tinkerbelle!

Sally had to try on a hat at every shop we stopped in :)

We also ran into some baby ducks with their mama outside Pirates of the Caribbean. Sally was feeding them her goldfish crackers.

My little pirate!! We love this ride!!

We headed over to the Polynesian resort for dinner at Ohana. It was fabulous as usual!!

They start you off with pineapple bread.

Next they bring out a yummy salad.

Next up are potstickers and sticky chicken wings...

and then noodles and veggies.

Make sure to save room for the Pineapple Bread Pudding with Ice Cream!!

They also brought out brownie cupcakes sprinkled with mickey shaped sprinkles for the girls.

After our bellies were super full we went back into Magic Kingdom to watch Celebrate the Magic and Wishes. It was amazing as always!

Sally passed out while waiting or the bus.

I think you could call that a successful day!!

Disney Girls Trip- Day 2

Day 2 started bright and early. Being there for the "Good Morning" show is super magical and we knew we wanted to be there early enough to see it.

The girls were so ready!!! The adorable dresses are from Fleur L'enfant. I'll be honest and tell you that these were a special release but you can sometimes find them on the BST page. We got so many compliments on the dresses and it was fun to see the mamas who recognized the brand :)

And yes...we were those crazy mama's with the girls by ourselves. People said we were brave! They were right!!

My girl in her happy place!

Here is a part of the Good Morning show. If you go to the Magic Kingdom, please experience this at least once. It's just so magical and a great way to start your day!!

It was a super foggy day but we needed to stop and get a picture in front of the castle before the crowds took over. Taking a picture of these three was like herding cats. It was impossible to get them all to look and smile at the camera at the same time. We did our best :)

Here I am....pregnant at Disney!

We took the girls to meet Rapunzel and Cinderella.

Rode all our favorites in Fantasyland!

Me and Sally on Small World!

We had lunch at Be Our Guest so I had to get the chocolate cupcake. So Yummy!

After lunch we rode a few more of our favorites! Sally was soon excited that she was finally big enough to ride Seven Dwarfs Mine Train! Sadly, I wasn't able to ride since I am pregnant, so she rode with Aunt Meredith.

In the afternoon, we grabbed a spot for the Festival of Fantasy parade. It's amazing, not to be missed, and best enjoyed with a Mickey Mouse ice cream bar!

When in Rome...

I love watching Sally watch the parade. She was so sweet blowing kisses to all the princesses and characters.

For dinner, we headed over to the Contemporary Resort for dinner at Chef Mickeys. Its just classic Disney and the girls love it!

The food is pretty good for a buffet...lots of choices!! The best thing is that the characters come around and you know you will meet Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy and Pluto without waiting in lines. Just make sure you have your camera and autograph book ready to go!

Day #1 in the parks was a success!! We had three tired little girls and three VERY tired mamas!!
