Shop Spotlight: Preppy Pony Designs

Today I want to share with you a super cute Easy shop. Its called Preppy Pony Designs and they make the cutest Disney shirts. Here are some favorites:

They offer some really cute options for your little boys too! Its sometimes hard to find cute Disney shirts for boys. I love the classic look of these. 

Here is the shirt she made for Sally. I paired it with some red/white polka shorties from Matilda Jane. I think they work perfectly with the shirt colors. Now I just need to figure out if I want Sally to wear this outfit to Magic Kingdom or Epcot. Decisions....

The quality of these shirts is great and the design looks fabulous! They also offer custom designs so if you are looking for something and don't see it in the shop, just let them know. Shop Spotlight: Spoiled Sweet Kids

Today I want to share a wonderful shop with you. It's Spoiled Sweet Kids on Etsy and Christen makes the cutest shirts. She really offers lots of designs, but here are the ones that are my favorites...all Disney themed of course!!

See...I told you...super cute!! There are literally about 50 more Disney designs on her etsy site too! I really like that she has a lot of designs for boys...so many shops focus on girl designs so its nice to see both. Shipping is fast too!

The Cutest Autograph Book Ever (Dixie Delights)

Getting autographs from characters at Disney is a rite of passage. I knew Sally wouldn't totally understand the concept but I still wanted her to participate. When I saw these autograph books on the Dixie Delights blog, I knew they would be perfect for our trip. 

Amanda knows a thing or two about Disney. She loves it just as much as me, so I knew she had thought long and hard about how to make the best autograph/memory books out there.

I love the fact that they are spiral bound. The pages are so easy to turn. I love that they can be personalized with special events you are attending in the park (character meals, Not So Scary Halloween Party, etc.). I love that there is space for both pictures and signatures!

Amanda whipped this one up for us and I seriously couldn't wait to fill it with autographs from our favorite Disney characters. 

I had her do sections for each park we were visiting (Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom and Epcot), our special character meals (Cinderella Dinner, Princess Breakfast and Chef Mickeys). I also had her include a section for Downtown Disney. I love how I also got a section for "Magical Memories".

Packing the Perfect Bag for a Day at the Parks

Being prepared for a day at Disney will make your life much easier. I like to carry a cross body bag and Joe usually either carries a backpack or we stow things under the stroller. Having a backpack allows you to pack some extra things. 

Here is my crossbody bag. It's from Lisa Lori Boutique and I love it! Not only is it super cute but it is reversible and washable too!

*My iphone with a super cute case by 1stopmonogram. 

*Gum (Disney does not sell gum anywhere on property, so if you like to chew, bring your own!)

*Pouch with quarters and pennies to make pressed pennies. This one is so cute and is from Early Bird Stitches. It also works as a small card holder and has a key ring on it.

*Busy Bag-bubbles, play doh, little dolls, etc. to keep busy in line and waiting for food. I love this one from TheScarletThread1. 

I am also using it as a cosmetic bag for the trip down. Its so cute!

*Business card case. This one is from m00nlit. Its super cute and is the perfect case for carrying around both my business cards and the ones of all of my favorite etsy shops to hand out :)

*Wristlet to hold some cash, Disney gift cards, stamps, ID, etc. This one is from The Frozen Mouse and she even sent the cutest little case to hold ear buds.


*My camera with the cutest camera strap by rileyjane designs. It is padded so it makes carry my camera cute and comfy.

I bought this black Northface backpack before our honeymoon to Greece almost 9 years ago. It has been our go-to for traveling and has literally been all over the world. It's amazing quality and I love all the different pockets. It makes organizing a breeze.

In the backpack:

*Ponchos-Plan on it raining. Bring cheap ponchos from the $1 Tree...enough that you can throw them away after each use. 

*Sunscreen. We like to lube up in the hotel room and then reapply through the day.

*Water Bottle and Snacks for Sally-I love this snack box and bottle set from TwoShareThoughts! We fill it with boxes of raisins, goldfish, fruit snacks, apple sauce pouches, nuts, pretzels, etc. We will fill up the water bottle throughout the day.

*Chargers for camera and phones. I also have a battery pack for my phone.

*Autograph book by Dixie Delights and sharpies. I cant wait to share this with you after we have it filled up. Not only do you get autographs in it, but its also a place to put photos...so its sorta like a little memory book. Love it!

*Glow Sticks

*Ziplock Bags

*Diapers and Wipes

*Change of clothes for Sally in a big ziplock bag
*Towel-grab one from the hotel and use it to wipe of wet strollers (its rains a lot in Florida!)

*First Aid Kit by McGLeeDesigns-chap stick, band aids, hand sanitizer, blister block, tylenol, etc. I love that this one is not only super cute but makes all my stuff organized. The seller was sweet and stocked it with some supplies for me.

*Mini spray stain remover or Tide pen (for those messes that are bound to happen)

*Coloring book and crayon roll (we have one from Kaice Joy and love it!)

*Bibs- these disposable ones work great!

The Cutest Outfit For Your Disney Travel Day

We are flying to Disney and I have the cutest outfit picked out for Sally to wear. 

I had seen some really cute shirts on Etsy but fell in love with this one from Makin Memories Fun. I had her tweak the colors a bit and I love the way it turned out! She was so nice work with and the shirt is really well made! It's a MUST for your little ones going to Disney for the first time!!

I also had to have these yellow and white polka dot shorties from Downtown Designs By D. They match the shirt perfectly and are really well made. The seller was super nice and the shipping was fast...can't say enough good things!

This necklace from RazzBerryBeads was the finishing touch to my perfect Minnie Mouse themed travel outfit. The colors work perfectly for this outfit and Sally is going to think she is hot stuff wearing it. The seller was so nice and offered several options to customize the necklace...fast shipping too!

I can't wait to share pictures of Sally wearing all of this on the plane tomorrow. She is going to be precious!

Shop Spotlight: Emma & Allie Designs

Today I want to share a great Etsy/Facebook shop with you. Emma and Ellie Designs can help you out with all of your monogramming needs. They also have the cutest pocket shirts, bathing suits, applique shirts, scarfs, etc. She also does custom designs if you have something in mind. Check out the adorable pocket t-shirt she made for me. I love it! It is going to be perfect for our coming Disney trip.

Decorating Your Hotel Window at Disney

I have been to Disney about 15 times and never have I ever decorated my hotel room window. I have seen people who do this and always comment on how cute it is...but I just haven't done it myself. This is all changing on our upcoming trip. I want to do every little thing I can do to make this trip super special for Sally.

Of course I went to Pinterest to search for inspiration.

I found lots of cute ideas.

I wanted something a little different so of course I went to my favorite Etsy shop for printables: Lauren Haddox Designs. She has helped me with both of Sally's birthdays and I love working with her. She designed a banner for me to hang up in our window. 

Of course she did not disappoint! 

I didnt want to wait until after the trip to show you our window because I know several of you are going to Disney in September. I decided to do a little mock up on my dining room window to show you what I plan to do. 

The banner is printable. Lauren can customize it to your child's name. She also takes special requests. All you do it print it out, cut it out and hot glue it to ribbon. 

I had the Mickey hands and Minnie ears left over from Sally's birthday.

Shop Spotlight: Matchin Miss Priss

Although I love the pink Minnie things...my heart belongs to the traditional red Minnie. Sally has several cute outfits for Disney that use the colors or red, black and yellow so I couldn't wait to have Bree from Matchin Miss Priss create a necklace for her to wear. 

The necklace came in the mail last week and I LOVE it! Miss Sally is going to look so cute wearing this at Disney! I love the variety of beads that Bree used. 

 

Bree was so easy to work with. She sent me a picture of the necklace and I was able to replace a bead that I didn't care for. How many shops will let you do that?! She really wanted to make sure that I loved it and I really appreciate that. Shipping was super fast too! I love, love, love it!

Not only can she do Disney inspired necklaces, she also offers up the cutest necklaces to match dresses. I believe these are all from "Sweet Honey". She does such an amazing job making these necklaces look fabulous with the dresses.
