Moske's Do Disney: Day 5

Our last full day in Disney was bittersweet. We basically tried to soak in every last bit of magic that we could.

We headed back to the Magic Kingdom for a full day of fun!

We spent the morning in Adventureland and Frontier Land...riding all our favorites....Pirates, Aladin's Carpets, Jungle Cruise....

Sally was loving the fake snakes in the Pirates gift shop.

We scored reservations for Be Our Guest. I was so excited to try it out. I didn't manage to get any pics of the different themed rooms, but it was a good use of a quick service credit. I had a salad and Joe had a grilled cheese. The chocolate cupcake was really good!

Sally and I in the Beast's castle after lunch.

After lunch, Joe and I took turns riding Thunder Mtn and Splash Mtn. We also got delicious Dole Whips...my favorite Disney snack!

Sally was so excited to meet Chip and Dale.

We had a great spot for the afternoon parade. I loved Sally's (and Joe's!) reactions.

I had something on my Disney bucket list that I was able to check off. When I was about Sally's age, my parents took me to Disney and I had a little smocked dress on while riding the carousel. When I saw my old dress at my dad's house, I knew I wanted to try and recreate the picture. Success!

We took a few more spins on Dumbo and also rode the train all around the park.

We changed Sally into her adorable Cinderella dress and took some pictures of her by the castle.

Sally's dress came from Cotton Belle Boutique on Etsy. I am in love with how cute it turned out and how comfy it was for Sally. Its the perfect dress for the Florida heat! Elizabeth from Cotton Belle was a dream to work with! Her shop may be closed right now so she can finish Christmas orders, but check back soon!

I also picked up a small tiara for Sally at a local wholesale shop here in Memphis. She was such a little princess!

We took the boat over to the Grand Floridian for dinner at 1900 Park Fare. They have a wonderful Cinderella dinner. We weren't quite ready for dinner at the Castle, so this was a nice alternative. They had Cinderella, the stepsisters and stepmother and Prince Charming. They al came right over to our table.

Later, we took the boat back to Magic Kingdom so I could get a few more rides on Space Mountain. We woke up the next morning and took a flight home. We had a fabulous trip! All of my planning paid off...fabulous food, hardly any lines...it was great!

The Cutest Autograph Book Ever (Dixie Delights)

Getting autographs from characters at Disney is a rite of passage. I knew Sally wouldn't totally understand the concept but I still wanted her to participate. When I saw these autograph books on the Dixie Delights blog, I knew they would be perfect for our trip.

Amanda knows a thing or two about Disney. She loves it just as much as me, so I knew she had thought long and hard about how to make the best autograph/memory books out there.

I love the fact that they are spiral bound. The pages are so easy to turn. I love that they can be personalized with special events you are attending in the park (character meals, Not So Scary Halloween Party, etc.). I love that there is space for both pictures and signatures!

Amanda whipped this one up for us and I seriously couldn't wait to fill it with autographs from our favorite Disney characters.

I had her do sections for each park we were visiting (Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom and Epcot), our special character meals (Cinderella Dinner, Princess Breakfast and Chef Mickeys). I also had her include a section for Downtown Disney. I love how I also got a section for "Magical Memories".

She has the cutest Etsy store where you can order your own personalized autograph/memory book

She also sells some other pretty cute Disney stuff:

Thank you Amanda for helping us with the perfect memory/autograph book!

Moske's Do Disney: Day 4

Day 4 started off with a crazy rush to Epcot. Sally got a new Snow White dress to wear. It was from Darling Charlotte on Etsy. I love it so much. It is so well made and just precious. Sally was so excited to wear it!

We had a 9:20 am breakfast reservation. Although we left with plenty of time to spare, our bus stopped for a good 15 minutes and I just knew we were going to be late. Word of advice...always get there early!! After rushing through Epcot over to Norway, we finally arrived for breakfast at Akershus. We checked in at the hostess stand and had a 5 minute wait. We were then taken inside to have pictures made with Belle. I snapped a few with my camera but a few printed photos are also included in the price of the meal.

Here are the professional ones. I think they turned out well.

The breakfast itself was yummy...lots of pastries and fruits. They also bring out a plate of eggs, sausage, bacon and potatoes. Its all you can eat :)

During the meal, the princesses make their way from table to table. Just like the other character meals we did, they come to you. You just sit and eat and they will make their way over to you for pictures and autographs. About every 25 minutes, they do a "Princess Procession" around the restaurant where your little princess is invited to parade around. Its really cute! I think they did it twice while we were there. The first time, I held Sally's hand and walked with her.

Sally loved meeting Snow White

Sally and Princess Aurora

The second time they did the parade, Snow White came back over to our table to get Sally. It was really special. I'm sure the princesses are partial to little ones that dress up like them :)

Sally walking around with Snow White

She was so excited to meet Ariel.

The princesses were just fabulous...so engaging with all of the kids. Sally would just plop right down with them. She was just so excited!

After breakfast we explored Norway.

We were able to ride this before they closed it. I am so excited to see the Frozen changes that they are doing but I will miss this ride.

We also went to Mexico to ride Gran Fiesta Tour. This is always a fun little ride.

We did a few laps around World Showcase...popping in and out of shops, eating snacks and Joe drinking beer. The Food and Wine Festival had started and I really thought we would partake in the festivities more than we did...oh well...there is always next year.

Eating a pretzel in Germany.

Playing music in Africa.

Playing with Alice in England. Sally has a special love for Alice so we were all so excited for them to meet. We were not disappointed.

There were a lot of hugs.

There was flower picking.

Alice even tied Sally's bow for her.

Sally was loving it and I think she could have hung with Alice all day. One thing I love about Disney is that the characters really take their time with the kids.

Sweet Kisses :)

Someone passed out soon after....

So Joe decided to drink around the world.

When Sally woke up, we continued our day...stopping in Italy.

And there was more beer :)

We also took turns riding Soarin'.

We all rode Nemo a few times. Sally loved it...and she also loved looking at all of the fish in the aquarium section.

Here she is pointing to "Nemo".

Spaceship Earth is always fun.

For dinner, we walked over to the Beach Club and had dinner at Cape May Cafe. Its a seafood buffet and I loved it...all you can eat crab legs, fried shrimp, etc.....it was so good! After dinner, we walked back through Epcot.

It was such a fun day!!

Tips for Epcot:
*Do Akershus for breakfast. The lunch and dinner menu is a little strange.

*Try to schedule your Fast Passes in one area at a time so you arent going back and forth too much.

*Do yourself a favor. Go to Germany and get the Chocolate Covered Caramel with Sea Salt. It is soooo good!!
