Shop Spotlight: Two Share Thoughts

Today I want to introduce you to a wonderful Etsy shop: TwoShareThoughts. They make the cutest snack sets..perfect for a long road trip, airplane ride or day at DISNEY!!

If you have a mermaid lover in your house....how cute is this one?!

I love this Disney Funds jar too!

Of course my favorite has to be the Minnie snack set.

This is the set I got for Sally.

The water bottle will be perfect to fill up for our long days in the park (Disney!). These snack boxes are all the rage on Pinterest. The idea is to fill up each little section with a different snack so that your child can choose the snack that they want. I cannot wait to pack ours for our trip. It's actually one of my activities on our Disney Countdown.

I've already started working on a list of snacks to include.

Here are some ideas:
raisins
pretzels
fruit loops
goldfish
almonds
craisins
crackers
sunflower seeds
hershey kisses
M&M's
cheerios
cookies
yogurt raisins
yogurt pretzels
apple sauce pouch
fruit snacks
grapes
baby carrots
dried bananas
a sucker
mini marshmallows
sesame sticks
jelly beans
chocolate chips
gummy worms
string cheese

Places that sell in bulk (Kroger, Fresh Market, Whole Foods) are great places to stock up since you can just get a few of something.

I will be sharing pics of our filled snack box before we leave on our trip in September. (Make sure you are following me on Instagram here)

Disney Countdown Tutorial

I really wanted to create something for for our Disney Countdown. We leave in 60 days!! I plan to start this 30 days out. It was really easy to make.

I used one of the leftover treat buckets from Sally's birthday party (Target $1 section). I painted some big popsicle sticks black and then used this Mickey punch to punch out 15 Mickey heads. I freehanded the bows and cut 15 red bows out. I used hot glue to attach them to the popsicle sticks. I typed up 30 activities for us to do leading up to our trip, printed them off, cut and put on the sticks using Modge Podge. The idea is for Sally to draw out a stick and for us to do that activity..one each day. Some take more prep work than others, so I may "help" her choose a atick on some days.

Here is the list that I used:
*Have Mickey pancakes
*Make Mickey pizza
*Paint a picture of Mickey
*Have a Princess Spa Day
*Play with Mickey play-doh stuff
*Write a letter to a princess
*Write a letter to Minnie
*Eat Mickey doughnuts
*Make Mickey ice cream
*Have a tea party
*Make a princess wand
*Make a castle
*Fill our snack box
*Play Disney games on ipad
*Watch Disney parades on youtube
*Listen to the Disney parks CD
*Play Minnie memory
*Watch Princess and the Frog
*Watch Frozen
*Watch Cinderella
*Watch Tangled
*Watch Snow White
*Watch Aladdin
*Watch Sleeping Beauty
*Watch Little Mermaid
*Make Mickey shaped brownies or krispy treats
*Have a Mickey themed breakfast
*Have a Mickey lunch at school
*Buy a princess balloon at the store
*Buy princess plates and eat on them
*Have a princess themed lunch at school

Let me know if you have any fun ideas on how to prepare a 2 year old for Disney :)

Shop Spotlight: Trendy Gwendy

Today I want to share with you an online shop that makes the cutest necklaces. Its Trendy Gwendy and you can find her on Etsy here and Facebook here. I just love the chunky necklaces. The colors are so fun...perfect for little girls!

This is the necklace I chose for Sally. I just love the aqua and pink together. Its so whimsical and fun. Its going to look great when she wears it at Disney with her pink Minnie shirt. The best part: it's on sale for $10 right now! It's really well-made too....very sturdy!

Here are some of my other favorites from her shop.

Everything is hand made and she even does custom work if you have an idea in mind.

I will be posting pictures of Sally wearing it after we get back from Disney. I just know she is going to LOVE it!

My Fantasy Bands: An Initial Review :)

Today I want to introduce you Disney fans to something that will blow your mind...My Fantasy Bands. It's a totally fun way to dress up your Magic Band.

Your Magic Band will be worn for pretty much the entire trip. I will probably only take mine off to shower and sleep. Here are the many uses of the Magic Band.

As you can see, its going to be a big part of your trip. Disney allows guests staying in a Disney hotel to customize the color of your band before your trip. The bands are either delivered to your house or to your hotels front desk. Why not take it a step further and have a super fun band that you can wear all during your trip? This is where My Fantasy Bands comes in. They offer lots of colorful and fun designs inspired by your favorite Disney characters.

Fabric Covers can be bulky and rubber charms may pop off easily. Decals by My Fantasy Bands are an affordable way to decorate your wrist band. They are printed in full color and have an adhesive backing. They have a UV-blocking over laminate that gives the sticker a 3-5 year outdoor life! They are also water proof so you can wear them on water rides, in the pool and even in the shower!

Other Fun Facts:
*They are completely adjustable for smaller adults wrists or kids sizes.
*Find them on Facebook here and on Instagram here. They are always posting new designs, coupon codes, giveaways, etc.
*They are super easy to put it. Check out the full tutorial here. It seriously takes like 30 seconds.
*Shipping within the USA is always FREE :)

I received my "Fantasy Bands" last week and I cannot wait to use them on our upcoming trip to Disney. I chose Minnie for me, Mickey for Joe and the Mermaid for Sally.

I will be doing a full review when we get back from our trip.

I am trying to schedule my fast passes around dining reservations, parades, fireworks, nap time, etc. Its hard and makes my brain hurt..in a good way. We have 2 full days at Magic Kingdom and then 1 day at Epcot and 1 day at Animal Kingdom. We are not doing Disney Studios on this trip. I just didn't think that there was enough for Sally to do at this age. For Magic Kingdom, there are so many rides...and several that Sally will not be able to do. Joe and I plan to take turns riding those using the single rider line.

Some Cute Outfits for Disney

As we prepare for our upcoming Disney trip, I have been collecting outfits for Sally. The other day I knew I needed to start thinking about what I would wear. Although I am not big on wearing characters, I love these looks for the parks. I haven't included links but you can find them all here on my Pinterest page.
